Excellent cafe tucked away down a little Mews. Superb service, excellent food and amazing value for money. This is without doubt a go to destination for a coffee, snack, breakfast or main meal. A wide selection across the menu. Lovely table service. Nice clean environment. Highly recommend!!

Lauren's Cafe is a proper no nonsense characterful cafe (not café) down the sheltered High Street Mews in Leighton Buzzard. It has waitress service. My mate and I like to visit AGR Model Railway Store at the far end of the cute little mews, so we try to come over in the mornings, so to include the wonderful breakfast this cafe cooks up. The premises is two split level rooms with wooden tables and chairs and a handful of small tables just outside the front door. Dogs are allowed at the outside tables but not indoors as the law dictates. We checked this as my mate likes to bring his dog. The breakfast (as already mentioned) uses top quality tasty produce at very reasonable prices. Their fried bread is some of the best I've ever eaten, crisp and even, not a grease sodden sponge. Their menu is quite extensive, not just fried stuff, but my eyes never read past the breakfast choices. Very highly recommend. This is a wonderful place that caters for all, I'm new to the area and was made to feel very welcome and even local after only a couple of visits. The staff are brilliant people that go out of their way to serve everyone! The food is perfect, there's something for everyone including all the homemade classics and more. Gluten and dairy free options are available and everything comes at an excellent price. They even have great gluten free bread which I've never found anywhere else!
